When Saket and Aniket came up with the idea of ​​Refit startup, they were working together in companies like ShopClues and Log. They wanted to provide a possibility of selling second hand mobiles especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

He started this category in 2015 when he was working in ShopClues and he started a renewed portfolio of companies in which he reached more than ₹ 35 crore per month in 8 to 9 months.

Refit's revenue

In the financial year 2017-18 the company has earned a profit and turnover of more than ₹7.5 crores and in the financial year 2018-19 their generation has increased to ₹18.5 crores And reached ₹23.5 crore in 2019-20 financial year and ₹44 crore in 2020-21 financial year and ₹100 crore in 2021-22 financial year and reached ₹200 crore in 2022-23 financial year.

Now the target of Refit company is to reach 350 crores and because according to ICEA report the demand for refurbished devices is up to 16% till date and according to ICEA Indian re-commerce market will reach 10 billion dollars by 2025.

According to the 2020 report, 100 to 125 million devices were able to enter India's second hand market and three million were traded through organized and 17 million more unorganized and 105 million were spare at home.  Of those 3 million devices, only 1 million were remanufactured and the remaining 2 million were traded as second-hand devices.
